JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Summary

This position is part of our valuable Customer Support Team who liaise with our customers to define the components that are required from an aircraft to be re-used and re-purposed, then process these components using our IT system to log and photograph each piece in detail before distribution all over the world. We pride ourselves on our accuracy and responsiveness to our customers, and this is a critical role to ensure we meet and exceed our Customer’s project delivery expectations.

Main responsibilities

  • To support the delivery of our Customers projects by accurately entering critical data, such as part/serial numbers from aircraft components onto our customer database, as they are removed from Aircraft in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP
  • To check part requirements against Customer Harvest List.
  • To carefully handle each component and take a clear photograph to upload on the customer database.
  • To report any non-conformance issues, delays, or other issues to the Technical Team Leader/Customer Gearbox.
  • Ensure all necessary materials are well stocked within work area each day to optimise productivity (caps; bags; tags; etc)
  • To carefully pack aircraft components in accordance with SOP
  • Effective communication with both internal & external customers
  • To actively support the continuous improvement projects within the business to help improve quality, productivity, etc.
  • Understand and apply the site Safety, Environmental Policy, Safety Management System, and relevant legal Safety & Environmental requirements and take reasonable care for their own safety and that of other people.
  • Any other duties associated with, or different from those specified above at the request of the Senior Management, or to meet the needs of the business demands.
